The Serpent of the Deep, Lord of the Raging Seas. Leviathan is a rather well-known name in history, as he has been associated to dinosaurs and such popular myths as The Loch Ness Monster. Leviathan was known as a sort of aquatic elemental creature, living in the farthest depths of the ocean and governing its waters. He was not too different from the greek Poseidon, although seen more as a beast rather than a humanoid deity. Nonetheless, he received worship from many races of the young world, including the Vikings and Egyptians. He represents the force of water and is associated with the "flow" of magical power. Biblically, he was feared as being the fury behind tidal waves and sea storms, and later made synonimous with the devil. Here he is portrayed in all his might, rushing forth from the waters.

In songs where they cry "Kirie Eleison", they beg for mercy and protection from him.
